As Chief Technology Officer at Ivrnet I wanted to contact our customers and provide details about our response to the recent Heartbleed OpenSSL vulnerability.
Security researchers recently announced the discovery of an OpenSSL exploit that can affect users of certain versions of this library. Heartbleed is not a flaw with the SSL/TLS protocol specification, nor is it a flaw with any certification authority.
This flaw affects a substantial number of applications and services running on the Internet. Fortunately, the majority of Ivrnet servers were not affected by this bug including our ITSportsNet and Community Central servers. Ivrnet proactively responded to this threat and has patched all production servers to mitigate the vulnerability.
There is no evidence that Ivrnet user credentials were compromised, but recommend that our customers change their passwords as a precautionary measure.
Security is a critical component of the services we provide for your organization. Our security team will continue to monitor this issue and provide more information as necessary.
If you have concerns related to the security of your Ivrnet account, please contact us at email@example.com.
